Re: 15mm Philistine Camp

I did make a figure for Samson being called out of prison and taken to the Temple of Dagon (Judges 16:25) and he may look a litle like Victor Mature... https://i.postimg.cc/WbMqGtDy/IMG-5112.jpg Judges 16:23-25 23 Now the rulers of the Philistines assembled to offer a great sacrifice to Dagon their ...

Re: 15mm Early Medes (in progress)

The Mannaeans were a people of Hurrian origin living in a settled kingdom in what is now Northwestern Iran. They endured war and occupation by both the Assyrians and Scythians, until finally being defeated by the Medes in about 600 B.C. They appear as part of an Allied Contingent on the list. The ap...

15mm Early Medes (in progress)

This 15mm army will be made of Old Glory Persians that I painted a number of years ago and decided to bring up to standard. The three Skirmisher stands will be given updated paint jobs and bases. I am looking forward to seeing these. I don't have any armies from this part of the world, but seeing those Eureka figures and having nice decals is certainly tempting.

Re: 15mm Philistine Camp

I was never quite happy with the original camp; the structure looked too much like a North African building instead of an ancient Near Eastern temple. Plus, the statue of Dagon was largely hidden. So the original building went into the Colonial Wars box for later use. This new one is closer to the 1...

Re: 15mm Hebrew Camps

This camp is for my Later Hebrew Army. This is the time of David and Solomon in Jerusalem, so this camp will be more appropriate for an established kingdom. The building is a 15mm piece from Crescent Root Studios. It came pre-painted; all I had to add was a base and a figure. Unfortunately these exc...

I had some Seleucid camel troops, and aft...
