15mm Libyan Camp

This camp in 15mm scale is intended to serve for the Ancient Libyans, Early Nine Bows Libyan, and Later Nine Bows Libyan army lists. The setting is the edge of Siwa oasis, 350 miles west of modern-day Cairo. The idea behind the camp came from this sentence about the Libyans in the WRG book Armies of...

Re: Shire army list

I should host a "Scouring of the Shire" game of Triumph! at the next convention. It will be a stand of hobbits (Skirmishers) in a patch of rough terrain, starting in flank contact with a stand of Ruffians (Rabble) in the open. It would demonstrate the fast play nature of the rules.

Shire army list

I have seen army lists for Rohan, Mordor, and Gondor, but what about the Shire folk in Lord of the Rings? I recall some battles mentioned in the books: 1. Sending archers off to aid a king in a battle far away (that never came back) 2. Fighting off goblins in the north part of the Shire in the battl...

15mm Mounted Halflings?

Does anyone know of a source for these? Splintered Light has some halflings mounted on dogs or pigs, but I am looking for halflings mounted on shaggy ponies.

Help Identify these figures - Arab Conquest era

I bought these 15mm figures in 1982 (?). They are an Arab Conquest army originally based for WRG rules. They are beautifully painted, using the black line technique and featuring elaborate shield designs. Any ideas on the source of these figures? Minifigs?

15mm Libyans

These Libyans are based on the illustrations found in Osprey’s “Army of the Pharaohs” and a wall painting in the tomb of Seti I. The command stand (Warband) and Skirmishers are Old Glory figures. The Rabble stand ( only 18 more to go!) has a Khurasan figure in the middle and two Eureka figures.
