My son and I went a few years ago and it was a lot of fun: small and well-run. I'm going to try and attend with him again this year, and some Triumph! would be most excellent.
I couldn't find a PEL on their website? (PEL = Preliminary Events Listing)

Re: Barrage

I've never been to Barrage and I don't even know how much space is devoted to open gaming. But, wow, it would be nice to get out of the house and push some lead. I've never been either. They say they added an ancients tournament in 2014, but I'm not sure if it is SAGA or L'Arte De Guerre or what. I...

Is it definitely on? I know regulations and virus related stuff are changing rapidly.
I'm sure it's as up in the air as anything that is four months away in the world of Covid. No matter what they would say if you asked the organizers.

Re: Coop play

Thinking about Roman Legions which need to hold their ground against hordes of barbarians for example... It wouldn't be hard to do the limited version of Co-op games where there is one player who does the "Enemy" and some number who play the good guys (as happens in Shadows over Camelot, for exampl...

Re: Fantasy List?

Those armies sound interesting. I guess these have the same points as the usual Triumph! lists. Perhaps some Fantasy troop types with their own points values or Battlecards with magic or whatever? Fantasy Triumph is regular Triumph with some battle cards to represent special abilities, and very few...

I have a monsterpocalypse lizard army were I run my flying Pterodactyls as bad horse for example.
Ya, that works well for smaller Pterodactyls -- the two in this particular army are really large so I figured that JavCav is a better representation for them.

Re: Fantasy List?

Never played Warhammer. I've used some of the GW figure ranges for other purposes, though -- I've got a Lizardman army which is based upon plastic dinosaurs and GW Skinks, and it's really nice. And I've got a Beastman army with some add-ons like a metal-figure Cyclops. Here's some lists for those --...

Re: Fantasy List?

As Rod says -- fantasy list for what? I've got a couple of dozen lists for Middle Earth; DS and I have fifty or more fantasy armies; I've created Kaiju lists for Monsterpocalypse figures; a decade or so ago DS and I ran 10 special Star Wars scenarios that are eventually going to be refurbed and run ...

Re: Late Teutonic Order

Here's a belated reply to Andreas and the issue of cavalry equipped with spears and crossbows. In the Later Polish army we've been convinced by your arguments, and they are now going to be rated as Elite Cavalry with the Sword-fighting Cavalry battle card. Meaning Elite Cavalry if you don't use the ...
