I've tried setting out the chosen army on a table facing an enemy army. Set them out a week in advance or so. To get them in the mood to fight.

Doesn't work.

I will try writing on their bases.

The actual date of the next time we get together is January 27th. Had to coordinate with the store, Saga Games, and make sure there will be enough empty tables for Triumph games.

Haven't decided on a theme or anything yet. It might be just another "bring your favorite army" night.

A handful of people showed up to play Triumph last night. We have one table and two games going the whole time. We had a lot of fun playing.

I like measuring tools, legal sized playmats, etc..But don't take my suggestions too seriously. You should probably listen to people who actually have a shot at winning prizes.

I'm currently painting Early Hebrews and Philistines. Definitely won't have them done before the end of the month. My big plans are to have them done before Fall In. And, someday get started on my Hundred Years War armies.
