Re: Meshwesh troop extra hidden information
Thanks David, that makes sense. Pity though, it quashed my pet theory that I had stumbled on a secret CIA codebase that was using meshwesh to communicate with deep undercover operatives.

Difference between group moves and column moves
I found the rule sections on group moves and column moves a little fiddly to read as they have many of the same rules with just a few differences. From what I can see the differences between group moves and column moves is that: * columns can be 1 unit wide only * columns don't suffer any ill effect...

For example, this table of the English Rose army l...

Movement distance of turning away from an enemy ZOC
44.5c Describes how a unit in an enemy ZOC may turn directly away from the enemy stand (front edges parallel) and then move directly forward away from the enemy stand with the move distance being the sum of the turn away and the movement forwards. Would the move distance of the turn part of the move...

When to measure the General’s command range
Is the General’s command range measured at the beginning, end or during movement? I assume at the beginning of movement?

Thanks David. I thought this may be the case but still had doubts. Thanks for clarifying this.

Can units of different depths side-by-side form a group?
Hello all, I am a little confused about what constitutes a group for a group move. In 34.1 a group is defined as a set of friendly stands that is “in both edge-to-edge and corner-to-corner contact with another stand in the group.”. Does this corner-to-corner criteria require only one point of contac...
