Re: Early North European Bronze Age vs. Urnfield Culture
Found this video speculating on Tollense and what it tells us about Bronze Age cultures in north-central Europe to be interesting. Weaves archaeology with DNA and other evidence and touches on the Indo-European migrations and how DNA studies are changing archaeology. https://youtu.be/tUXBKWZReKY

Peter Pig Carolingians
Charlemagne fans may be interested in Peter Pigs new range of 15mm Carolingians. PP figures always have a lot of character, but I have to say Martin Goddard is getting better at detailing faces. I particularly like the skirmishing archers.

15mm Baggage Elephant (Museum)
Anyone on the lookout for an Indian baggage elephant should check out the new Z-sculpt casting from Museum. The detailed creases in the elephant skin is phenomenal. Check it out at: https://www.museumminiatures.co.uk/pack-elephant.html

Re: 15mm Early Bronze Age North Europe
Love your early Bronze age armies and creative use of figures. How do you do the flocking...do you use an applicator to give it a static charge, or just sprinkle it on?

First Bulgar Empire
I'm starting to get the itch to collect a new army, and seem to be inclined toward the First Bulgar Empire, https://meshwesh.wgcwar.com/armyList/5fb1b9e4e1af060017709a11/explore Its a bit off the beaten path, which Iis where my interests usually lie. It is also an interesting list with a mix of Knig...

African Vandals Make Their Debut!
Finally finished basing up an excellent set of African Vandal figures procured from MikeyGees on Ebay, one of my bucket list armies. Now what to do with the pile of unpainted Gothic/Vandal horse I've acquired over the years, which has been exiled to the pile of shame. If you like the idea of an all ...

Re: MIDDLE EARTH Triumph fan supplement
Looks great. Loving the army descriptions/rationales and the Tolkien flavor, such as hobbits fielding leftover Gandolfian fireworks as artillery.

Belisarius in Africa
Am putting the finishing touches on an African Vandal army and was looking at possible historical opponents. Of particular interest is Belisarius and the Justianian Byzantines during the so-called Vandalic Wars, because there is a good breakdown of his expeditionary force at Ad Decium by Procopius. ...
