DS and I are working through the Battle Cards, and one of them is Camel Protected Infantry. "Troops with this battle card receive an advantage due to their use of kneeling camels as barriers"
Does anyone know a source for kneeling camel figures in 15mm?

I love the look of the 15mm Chariots on the 80mm bases!

Monsterpocalypse. "White Dajan". He's a big boy; his giant icicle hangs out off the base on a 60mm base (which is what I've got him on).

Re: Video Preview of Fantasy Triumph!
Nice-looking army. I've got the same Girallon figs unallocated (not assigned to a particular army yet). I could employ them as Yeti in my Ice Barbarian army (28mm, not 15mm) but I haven't decided yet. They might make some larger thugs in my ice-version Empire of the Apes army based upon this dude: d...

Re: Campaign Book General Structure
Anything? 8-) DS and Rod are putting together a teaser of the Gallic Wars campaign to tide you over. The initial drafts for Book One are complete, but we have to go over them with a fine tooth comb before we go to our layout guru. At this point DS and I have worked through 3 of the 7 campaigns in b...

Re: Video Preview of Fantasy Triumph!
How is the playtesting going? More finetuning or happy with the results? Very good. We're still tweaking some stuff associated with the Flying rules, and the point values of some of the Fantasy Triumph battle cards -- tweaking point values is likely to continue up until the last minute, as every pl...

Re: Late Teutonic Order
The battle card for "Sword-fighting Cavalry" is as follows: [blah blah blah ... stands with this battle card fight as follows ... blah]: They have combat factors of +3 vs. foot, +3 vs. mounted, and defend at +2 against ranged combat Move 6mu. In all other respects, including all combat results (give...

Re: Late Teutonic Order
I think it would make a lot of sense to class the Order's mounted crossbowmen and czeladz the same, irrespective of which specific type is decided on. I've been doing a fast survey of the relevant armies (Polish, German, Teuts) and it seems like the underlying problem is that there is no good bucke...

Re: Late Teutonic Order
Right now I'm reading Alexander Querengässer's Der Deutsche Orden im Dreizehnjährigen Krieg 1454-1466 . For the Bohemians there's a good deal of info in Uwe Tresp's Söldner aus Böhmen . In English, there's a chapter on the 13YW in William Urban's The Last Years of the Teutonic Knights , though he's...
