Re: Historicon

I have had an inquiry regarding 'Midnight Madness' from an HMGS member, Patrick Devine. He was interested in hosting the event. I have tried to redirect him to contacting the WGC and holding the event using Triumph. Hopefully we will hear from him soon. Would members of the forum attending 'Histori...

Re: Grand Triumph 96

Thanks for sharing this! As you mentioned Meshwesh really nicely provides 96 point "Double" sized armies so it would be very useful to work out a good approach to playing on a smaller board than we use for the GT rules as we have right now for 144pts.

Re: Conforming question

That is correct! The Heavy Foot would only conform is the moving stand was part of a group making a tactical move. In the case you describe it was moving as a single stand.

Are there any players in the Indianapolis area?

Scott
Sadly, it seems like we need you to introduce some new players to Triumph! in Indiana Scott!

Re: Libyans vs. Egyptians, 2200 BC

I really want to see these photos.... some of my favorite armies. For some reason though, I can not see the photos in the posts. Not sure why. It looks like a broken link.

Re: Scythian's

Hey amazing WGC folks! A keyword search for "Scythian" should probably find the Skythian lists. You've been really good about adding keywords. I appreciate it! We are overdue for a big update/refresh of the army metadata on Meshwesh (including the recently posted version of the Battle Card rules). ...

Re: Shattered vs. Destroyed

In DBM & DBA we used to call it "quick kill." To destroy without doubling. (We still tend to use that term.) Right, back when we played DBA (and a little DBM) we used to call it that too. Much easier than Dead if Beaten but Not Doubled or something along those lines. Seems like a lost opportunity t...

Re: Gallic vs Rome Grand Triumph! AAR

I know I've posted this all over the Facebook Groups, (& even stirred up some of the "DBA's";') but thought, why not here too? (First attempt at using Paint 3D. Sort of proud of my amateurish attempt!;) Its all in the attached pdf. Enjoy. Nice report! Sounds like it was an exciting and enjoyable ga...
