GW Lizardmen

Working on my first "real" 28mm Fantasy Triumph! army. Previously I have thrown in some fantasy elements to historical armies and done fantasy 15mm armies, but this is an army I am making from old hammer GW figures. I still have a few more skinks to do up as light foot and skirmishers. Plus some 3D ...

Re: Bow Levy

All interesting points, try playing the Bow Levy and comparing to Rabble and Horde. What you will find is that Bow Levy do represent guys with Bows in that they have abilities that Rabble and Horde do not have. One issue we get into with the shooting concept at lot at this scale is the old, "why don...

Re: Flanking Movement Rule 54.4

Yes, you can certainly move into a flanking position, but only into ZOC if you did not already start on the flank. The enemy can respond by trying to turn if they have the opportunity (i.e. command PIPs and no bigger problems). You cannot charge an enemy (enter combat) in a different flank than you ...

All three of those moves would be legal because you are not ending in flank contact with the enemy. Flank contact is defined as the entire front edge of your stand covering the entire flank edge of he enemy, so even in the cases where you are touching it is incidental contact and does not initiate c...

Re: Troop Type Summary Sheet

That is my fault for creating confusion..... Ok, so the rule 78.3 is that any unit that provided rear support to a pursuing unit will pursue if that unit pursues. The difference is this Pike pursue if they got rear support (they do not have to double). Light Spear only pursue if they double, and if ...

Re: Shattered vs. Destroyed

Yup, but that is more of a game mechanism like description. Shatter is meant to be more descriptive of what happens to the unit in the battle, i.e. the chariots charge up and unleash a deadly volley of arrows, the formed foot of the enemy waivers and opens gaps in their line as some men lose their n...
