Re: Ambush Card Questoin
The Card says: " • The stand must be placed more than 2 MU from any enemy stand" So if a stand is placed in ambush and there is no enemy within 2 MU, but could be during deployment. Later, during the initial setup, an enemy unit deploys within 2 MU. Is this all legal? Sure. You can't block the enem...

Re: Post Mongol Russian
My abject apologies for not following up on this earlier; too many projects, too little brain. After some reading on the subject, I'm looking at following Delphin's suggestion, something like the following: Split the PMR list into two, notionally titled "Early Post Mongol Russian" and "Later Post Mo...

Re: Medieval German Warwagons
Some more construction and technique pics on the WWg. This shows how the door is cut, after gluing (much easier), using a #11 exacto knife, in the backside wall of the war wagon. image 5.jpg Here we've got all the top struts cut for all five war wagons. image 6.jpg You can cut the struts out yoursel...

Here's an Etsy link for wheels, about 1/2" diameter, which should be okay (I'm hoping!):

Medieval German Warwagons
Hey everyone, One of the cool stand types available in the Medieval German army, and also in neighbors like the Later Polish and Later Hungarians, is Warwagons. But they are supposed to be emulating Hussite technology, and frankly all the commercially available wagons... do not cut the mustard, at l...

Re: How big before you get to Grand?
How many points can you comfortably play on a standard board without it getting overly crowded? Space is constrained, but I'd like to play four players, with each having as many points to control as is practical. On a standard board? Interesting question. It would depend upon the armies, I suppose....

Re: 15mm Lord of the Rings Figures
They are Behemoths in the game. I am using the army lists you developed for Historicon as the general guide. So no special abilities for the trolls. We don't use any house rules for Triumph1 games, but I can't help myself from putting extra figures on the bases sometimes. Gotcha. Yes, I'm the same ...

Re: 15mm Lord of the Rings Figures
What troop type are the Trolls? Behemoths, with the archers just as a decorative accent? Behemoths with the Ranged Combat battle card?

Re: Meshwesh minor errors and typos continued (from Oct 5, 2021)
The date restriction for bombards in the Wallachian or Moldavian list is weird: "1401 AD to 1517 AD only Moldavian after 1400; or Wallachian after 1455". The first bit seems superfluous. How would you word it? The army list applies to Moldavians (who can have artillery from 1401) and to Wallachians...
