TSS Feudal Scots and Welsh

Total Systems Scenics (QRF) has just rereleased a range of 15mm Feudal Welsh, to go along with a range of Feudal Scots they released last fall. Does anyone know the background on these ranges? I swear I purchased some of the Feudal Scots years ago from Steve Shaw's Feudal Castings, but these are not...

Khurasan 15mm Norse Irish

At their blogsite, Khurasan announces plans for a forthcoming release of 15mm Norse Irish, which they tease with this great shot of their Irish Chieftain Brian Boru. Re: War & Empire new Dark Ages Kickstarter

They both look great. Problem for me with a SRB army is that I want to have a version that looks right for 400 AD vs. 600 AD, vs. 800 AD-1000 AD. Or put another way, one that's right for the Kingdom of Strathclyde and one that's right for the Dux Britanniarum and especially, one that fits what I thi...

Re: War & Empire new Dark Ages Kickstarter

They look great. I am also very happy to see their Arthurian bonus range has been funded as well. I didn't see this stretch goal and assumed the Arthurian foot soldier in the first video was a limatanei from the late Roman range. Turns out he is most likely one of the Arthurian comitatus. I need ano...

Re: War & Empire new Dark Ages Kickstarter

If you watch the Kickstarter video with painted samples of the figures (which are all excellent by the way)...the Late Roman figure at 7.25 into the video is my idea of what a Sub-Roman or Gallo-Roman (Soissons) warrior of the 400 AD+ period should look like. Not sure which code this is from in thei...

Re: Proposed 15mm Sumerian Range (by Eureka)

Some good news from Nic Robson. Apparently enough orders came in at the deadline to give the Sumerian project a green light. Nic is in the process of collecting deposits and if all the money comes in as pledged, he expects to be able to start the range and begin delivering figures perhaps as early a...

Re: Proposed 15mm Sumerian Range (by Eureka)

Well the word from Nic Robson is that as of the Jan. 2 deadline, he had confirmed orders equaling 77% of the cost of launching the 15mm Sumerian range and has 5-6 email contacts out still pending confirmation. He is going to look at the orders to see if there is anything in the proposed range that c...

15mm Legio Herioca Saxons

With so many good Saxon ranges out there, it is hard to get excited at news of a new one. However, the Legio Heroica's new Saxon Range (790-1100 AD) is pretty spiffy. There is something about LH sculpts that makes for a nice looking army on the tabletop. http://www.legio-heroica.com/Sassoni-en.html
