Re: Proposed 15mm Sumerian Range (by Eureka)

Some good news from Nic Robson. Apparently enough orders came in at the deadline to give the Sumerian project a green light. Nic is in the process of collecting deposits and if all the money comes in as pledged, he expects to be able to start the range and begin delivering figures perhaps as early a...

Re: Proposed 15mm Sumerian Range (by Eureka)

Well the word from Nic Robson is that as of the Jan. 2 deadline, he had confirmed orders equaling 77% of the cost of launching the 15mm Sumerian range and has 5-6 email contacts out still pending confirmation. He is going to look at the orders to see if there is anything in the proposed range that c...

15mm Legio Herioca Saxons

With so many good Saxon ranges out there, it is hard to get excited at news of a new one. However, the Legio Heroica's new Saxon Range (790-1100 AD) is pretty spiffy. There is something about LH sculpts that makes for a nice looking army on the tabletop. http://www.legio-heroica.com/Sassoni-en.html

Re: Proposed 15mm Sumerian Range (by Eureka)

Nic Robson advises that he's got enough interest to cover 60% of the project and is going to leave the window open until the end of the year. So if you are interested in the proposed range of 15mm Eureka Early (Gilgamesh-period) Sumerians...and haven't already responded...contact Nic to confirm your...

Re: Khurasan 15mm West Sudanese Range

Remember seeing a display at the Smithsonian few years ago of arms and armor from the Mali, Benin, Kanem/Bornu, Songhai and other west African kingdoms associated with the ascendancy of Timbuktu. There were very elaborate and highly decorated weapons, helmets and body armor and horse tack in particu...

Proposed 15mm Sumerian Range (by Eureka)

Nic Robson at Eureka Miniatures is inviting expressions of interest (and pre-orders) in a proposed 15mm Sumerian range, modeled after Eureka’s excellent 28mm range, which you can peruse on-line at: http://eurekamin.com.au/index.php?cPath=87_126_738&sort=3a Tentative plans call for the 15mm Sumer...

Re: Khurasan's Gasgans

Gasgan fans note...Khurasan is adding a code of Gasgan elite "bodyguards" or warriors with helmets and armed with bow and two hand swords. An interesting combination. Check out teasers in the Khurasan blogsite at: https://www.facebook.com/khurasanminiatures
